wine in Napa! Long time friend Nils Venge suggested his son, Kirk to work with him in this undertaking. We custom crush at the Venge Rossini
Ranch Winery where Kirk is our consulting winemaker. Kirk was voted one of the top 25 up-and-coming winemakers of the world in the
October 2005
issue of Food and Wine Magazine. Total annual case production is less than 800 cases.
Vintage History
2003 was our first vintage where we made 148 cases of Merlot and 190 cases of Zinfandel. Unfortunately, these wines were
lost in the Wines Central Fire.
2004: Two vineyard designate Zinfandels from the Brown Ranch (Big Dave's) and Moss Creek (George's Vineyard) as well as a Syrah (Honey’s) and Merlot
(Corktree).
2005: Three vineyard designate Zinfandels; George's, Big Dave's, and Boschetti as well as Syrah, Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot.
2006: Two vineyard designate Zinfandels; George’s and Boschetti as well as Syrah, Merlot and Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon. None of the 2006 wines have been released
yet.
